Aim/Objective/Mission: The Bangalore Environment Trust
was conceived in October 1986 and registered on 15th April
1989 by eminent persons like Mr. Zafar Futehally, former
member, National Environmental Advisory Committee, Government
of India and Prof Satish Dhawan, formor Director, Indian
Institute of Science and & Chairman, ISRO. Their mission
was to attempt to co-ordinate with the like minded individuals
and institutions to improve the physical and aesthetic
condition of the city. |
