Purpose: Child welfare, Education, Training
Aim/Objective/Mission: Established in 1949, has grown
like a Banyan Tree into a premier welfare organisation,
sheltering thousands of children and spreading its branches
into childcare, family welfare, educational, vocational
and rehabilitation programmes. It was established as a
home for homeless children. Admitted below the age of
5 years, the children are cared for until they are ready
to be rehabilitated into the society.
