Aim/Objective/Mission: The main focus of BOAW is to enhance
the status of women towards the upliftment of the community
through the state and local BAHA'I Councils. The priority
areas of the office include education for the girl child,
eradication of violence against women, the role of women
and mothers in the family and partnership of men and women
towards community development. The overall objectives
of the BAHA'I Office is to network with other NGOs, UN
and government agencies who are working in the field of
women's advancement and interface with them in joint conferences
and seminars. It develops special task forces throughout
the country to encourage women to take part in various
activities and disseminates information through newsletters
and questionnaires. |
