Aim/Objective/Mission: Way back in 1976, a group of social workers, medical personnel, psychologists, nutritionists, physiotherapists and speech therapists got together and decided to set up a voluntary organisation to provide exclusive service to the special children and their parents, coming largely from the weaker section of our society. That is how we made our modest beginning. Now it has blossomed into organisation with diverse activities managed by a governing body comprising members from different milieu with the common aim of serving handicapped children. We always thought the deaf and mentally retarded children would be able to look after themselves, if they were shown the way with a little more care and affection, understanding this has been the corner stone of our humble effort.
