Purpose: Self Help Groups
Aim/Objective/Mission: Gramin Kshetra Vikash Samiti (RADS),
Ranichauri, is a voluntary organization registered under
Indian Society Registration Act1860, Sec XXI. Society
Registration No 758/13236 D on dated 24/06/1999. Although
the society was registered in June 1999 but its length
of service is quite long. It has been carrying out its
social services in rural areas of District Tehri Garhwal
of Uttaranchal state, Society was registered with basic
aim of providing social services to all community but
particularly to youth, women, children and Handicapped
person residing in rural areas of Uttaranchal for Empowerment
of women, Improvement Health of the people with focus
on mother and child health care have been the goals to
which the organization is committed. In order to get the
targets society has been carrying out activities for the
welfare of women, children and handicapped Person These
activities include organization of awareness camps, vocational
training program family planning program etc. the society
is well experience in SHG’s formation. The Society
has experience working with UNICEF Lucknow, Swa-shakti
Project (a world bank & IFAD Assisted project) NABARD,
Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, HRD Lucknow,
SGSSY Special Project & DRDA. The Society has a good
experience for Formation of Self helps Group & Sainitaion
programme. The Society has acquired a good Experience
in this field. Society also working in Child Environment
Project under Unicef Lucknow. The Society has given training
to Mahila Care Taker Under unicef project Through HRD
Lucknow. |
