Aim/Objective/Mission: THE INDIAN COUNCIL OF REHABILITATION
& SPORTS FOR THE DISABLED (ICRSD) was established
in 1978 by its founder president Dr. Tapan Kr. Dhar. Since
then the organisation has been working specifically in
the field of relief and rehabilitation including sports
and recreation for all kinds of disabled persons in India.
The organisation is recognised by the Govt. of West Bengal
and affiliated to the International Sports Organisation
for Disabled (ISOD) a WORLD BODY based in Gloucester,
Ontario, Canada. It is the only organisation of its kind
in India. |
