Purpose: Rural Development
Aim/Objective/Mission: KERDA aims at the overall development
of rural areas by equipping rural people to participate
in developmental activities. It's activities include women's
awareness camps, AIDS awareness, population control and
environment conservation. Recently KERDA has conducted
a programme called Neeethimela where about 120 cases were
settled with the help of some known organisations like
Council for Social Justice, Ernakulam, and eight gram
panchayats. It also organised a one day seminar on Human
Rights People and Police. |
