Aim/Objective/Mission: MCF focuses on preserving the art
and culture of South India through its living heritage
project, DakshinaChitra. DakshinaChitra is a 10 acre centre
of 18 historical houses with crafts and folk performing
arts from the four southern states. MCF has projects in
craft development and marketing aimed at rural NGOs, extensive
outreach education programs, research, archiving and a
library. |
