Aim/Objective/Mission: 'Mamta' started its work with teh
objectie to improve health of urban poor women and children
in New Delhi. The major concern was that the right of
this section of the society to enjoy the highest attainable
standards of physical, mental, economic and social health
was still eluded a majority of them due to their unequal
status in the society. Mamta is committed at improving
the capacity of both individuals and communities to negotiate
productive work, education and good health.
