Purpose: Health, Education, Aged, Disadvantaged communities,
Disability, Women, Children
Aim/Objective/Mission: R.K. Foundation's objective is
to source and avail basic needs to the under-privileged,
to help them live with dignity. The Foundation tries to
create a bridge between people and NGOs concerned with
health care and human services.
The Foundation is operating the projects in Karnataka
to provide food, clothes and medicines to the needy persons,
educational assistance to children and artificial limbs
to the persons with physical disability, through organisations
and NGOs involved in health care and other supporting
services. Their main ongoing projects are The Clothes
Bank (VASTRA), The Food Bank (AAHAAR), The Medical Relief
(AROGYA), The Educational Aid (VIDYA) and The Artificial
Limbs project. The foundation aims to become part of the
local resources mobilization network on various service
oriented institutions like hospitals, vocational training
institutions and others. |
