Purpose: Disability
Aim/Objective/Mission: This is an organisation of parents
having children with cerebral palsy that includes spacticity,
ataxia, locomotor disability, dyslexia, mental retardation
and other related problems. Persons with cerebral palsy
can also join. Its main object is to sensitise about cerebral
palsy and other disabilities to the parents, the siblings,
the laws and bylaws and general counselling. It also contacts
the regular schools to sensitise on disability among students.
It holds several social awareness programmes throughout
the year and also participates in such programmes. It
has a vision to social acceptance of the disabled and
full participation in the society for which this organisation
works hard. |
