Purpose: Agriculture, Development(General), Disadvantaged

Aim/Objective/Mission: TERI aims to develop and promote
technologies, policies, and institutions for efficient
and sustainable use of natural resources, which encompasses:
the promotion of integrated energy policies that are environmentally
benign, economically sound, and socially equitable; the
promotion of technological solutions to meet the challenge
of energy through conservation, innovation, and management;
the promotion of efficient management of natural resources,
particularly forest wealth, to ensure adequate supplies
of energy to rural areas; harnessing modern biological
techniques to enhance yields, protect and conserve biodiversity,
and control environmental pollution; and the dissemination
of information to researchers, policy-makers, administrators,
and technocrats |
