Purpose: Women's issues
Aim/Objective/Mission: UMA is a national level resource
centre set up to cater to the needs of elected women representatives
in Panchayat Raj. It aspires to strengthen the solidarity
and enhance the capabilities of women in politics by fulfilling
the need for information exchange and networking among
individuals and organisations in Panchayat Raj. UMA facilitates
networking and strengthening of efforts and activities
